Emergency and Confession

I forgot to put in our last post some pictures of our inflight emergency.  Of the hundreds of flights we've been on I've never been through the "brace, brace, head down, stay down" drill.  They had to wake us up to practice and it was all exciting enough but I'm glad I had an experienced pilot sitting next to me to let me know it would all be fine.  It was.

Our tire that blew on take off from SLC

Our welcoming crew after landing in DEN
Most people taxi down the runway.  We bussed!

Our welcome home sky!

Also just a pictorial update on our packing progress

And now the confession:  Ya know all those times hair was grown out to the appropriate 11inches and chopped off so that it could be generously shared with those who had none?  Well, I always meant to get those in the mail and then once I read the hair couldn't be over a year old and still be acceptable so I thought, "dang".  While packing, Dad ran across my bag of "hairy indiscretions".  He said, "What on earth is this???"  I sheepishly grabed my now not so discreet brown paper bag and determined to see if indeed, I had missed the deadline by the hair of my chinny-chin-chin.  And I have not!!!  As long as it is a ponytail, the hair can be OLD.  So this very week, and you can hold me accountable, I am sending in this beastly wad of hersuitness.

I'm not sure whose is who's, but good job peeps! And no, it does not spell anything, but I thought about it!
That is all!  Thanks for the birthday wishes!  We'll be seeing you in Utah!

Hmmm. Very hairy situation. We need to get to the root of this before anyone splits. Someone could dye, you know.
