An AWESOME month

First came this...

A dedicated place where wonderful things happen.

Yvonne had another great year as a YCL.

 Sis Griggs and I loved all 39 of our daughters.

Then came a trip to another sacred place, where eternal dreams begin.  You all were there so I'll just throw in some favorite pics in no particular order.  It all started with having a bridal photo shoot..

Then came the REAL fun!

Ally seems to be saying,  "yup, that's my brother and he's 2,  what can I say"

Thanks Jamie for making these kids cute as EVER!  You're a beast.

So happy to know we all get to be linked with these great people!

This is my all time favorite pic.  Moms usually don't get to say good-bye, not that we need to.  I just love the precious mother sweetness of this pic.

So fun to have so many favorite people in the world there!

Teeth pulled the next day and one more reception to go!  What a handsome couple!

And now back home to this last night.  Phew, what a month!!!

Billy Visit

Billy and Krista came to Colorado.The fire spoiled a lot of their plans but we had a wonderful time!

There's always a good thing even amid all the tragedy of the fire--great parking at the incline!

So Sad

Today I spent all day at my desk doing prep stuff for camp.  I watched the smoke from the fire build and blow.  Then in the afternoon a huge wind started blowing and I looked at the mountains and this huge wall of flame was rushing over the hills.  Sadly, it is burning so many houses.  The wall of smoke came at our house and ashes were flying all around.  Such a tragedy for our beloved Colorado Springs.

And that has been our life for the past month!  What's ahead?  Sale of the house, trip to Utah for engagement pics, babysitting while CJ goes to camp, going to camp myself, going to the temple with daughter(s), Summer is getting MARRIED, Krista has a mission call, and the election looms in November!  Whew!  

Graduation

Charina reported the haps of graduation so well, I thought I'd show you the "other side".

 And as Tyler was waiting for his Mom and Dad to get ready for church he and I enjoyed making faces.  Mine weren't so cute but they did make him laugh...enjoy the many faces of Tyler.
